Shit is gonna drop back, then it's gonna boost for Sardu, then it's gonna drop back again. Sub-300 was crazy, but SV is dropping the ball as usual.

I dunno why they can't do simple shit to make the game deeper and more interesting. They want to appease the same 150 people who are in every video fighting each other, but there is more to the game than that.

It sucks to KNOW what is gonna happen and not be able to change it. I def tried. I paid. Spring is HERE. Wayshrines and Camps were really great. They failed to build on that.

No one can answer the questions of: why do they want you to have to grind massively to skill up your character? They realized it was wack with certain skills, so there is this weird imbalance where stuff skills instantly and others takes 10 hours. And why do they want it to be such a grind to enter mastery when mastery, tho I initially disagreed with it, does offer a lot more fun for the player in regards to building.

That's before they make the game more sandboxy, but until they realize those 2 problems, they will not retain the kind of new players who will drive a game over a long term.

You do not have the upper hand. Death is not a matter of if but when even if the game were good. The month after month of 15% drops was surprising even for me. This probably represents some overdue normalization.

I think the issue is that the game is NOT dying. It's like a drug addict cycle haha. Cuz I mean when it WAS at rock bottom, they really did some good changes, and now that they are like 'things are going well... might as well just do alil drugs, I can handle it now.'

I'm looking forward for someone to explain to me how this isn't bot behavior pop charts. Server offline for four hours, same pop count, then server goes down again later and shows 250 players for an hour shutdown. 250 BOT/AFK whatever the hell you want to call it. You're not playing with these "people" and they aren't playing with you. So if you want to take a look at "peak" pop count you need to immediately removed at least 250 from it.

You know why it will always stay the same? It's because no one of the actual playerbase wants REAL QoL. The whole game is based on being hardcore, and hardcore evolved to say if there is ANYTHING helping a player to enjoy the game without rage quitting after an hour, then it's not hardcore enough. A game and a playerbase that aren't ready tohelp a playerbase grew by trying to cater to at least a SLIGHTY bigger playerbase will forever remain at 200 max pop. So many new players come, try it, and nope out. F2P won't help that either. It's not the sub the problem, it's the game itself, but mostly the ultra hardcore 150 streamers you mentionned.

There is no early game anymore. If you don't join a guild that fully equip you from the get go, you're just gon die, repeatedly, until you quit. So you do not get to explore the world, build your character as you want, and build your own backstory, which is the crux of what most people playing mmos want to do. So you're condemned to just join a guild, and do sieges and shit. That's not how a game survives.

I agree, but I can and have written extensively on ideas of how to fix that, but they don't care. I wonder if they don't care because they do not understand what I am saying. I am hoping to collab with someone who can make videos with pictures and animations and shite so that I can get my point across.

The real issue is that people don't want the game to be hardcore. They want to FEEL hardcore haha. They are pussies in many ways and anything that flashes that to them makes them rage out on forums. An unbridled hardcore game would be doing better than this, but a lot of the people who are here would be the ones quitting.

You don't need to go into a guild. You need to have a mind to do things that are not rewarded by SV. THAT is the flaw. I have tried to tell them. If you play using imagination, you don't get a reward. You get a reward from farming mobs and doing tasks zzz.

I have been a solo, and I did group up with some bros at times and we had a lot of fun, but I play primarily solo because shit gets boring to just group up imo. There are many parts of the game that are more efficient to do solo.

But yea, I just met some guy in Bakti who said he was tired of being killed after 2 weeks in haven, spawned into nave and got farmed, and that he was gonna just reroll in haven and stay there. It's like man. It's not about safe zones, tho, it's about allowing for tiers of profit, and making it so that the profit of low end is enough that it's not JUST nubs playing there, so then people can band together against PKers or groups can fight, etc. You def want people to be able to experience fighting and hopefully winning, too.

You're right about early game tho. But you might not understand that haven subtracted the early game because everyone in early game is in haven, and all the mats they create are being eaten. It's dumb.

I came into MO1 and looked around me, got PK'd a bit, and was like hmm... I thought the game was super immersive, and I liked some of the people. So, I made it a goal to do something that I felt was noteworthy as a solo, and it is a great memory.

Not everyone is brain damaged like me, to just keep picking themselves up, BUT those who do should be rewarded. We were rewarded for not being pussies, so we had a very small group and were able to do a lot of shit because unless people had much larger numbers, they scattered.

Not only does the game not grow from people zerging up, but people don't grow, either. If your first response to getting killed is... GET EM BACK, ZERG EM... then aren't growing.

Some people have some ego problem with getting killed, and those people are just not gonna stick in MO. Unfort, those people are the ones writing the steam reviews that say you can't go anywhere without being PK'd and they played for like 20-100 hours. And SV listened to those. They SHOULD listen to the people who hit top end and were like FUCK MAN, I TRIED SO HARD... because yeah, there should be a top end for some people. It should take intelligence and skill to go beyond that, but for the majority of the pop to hit a top end and then have to zerg up is just so toxic for long term gaming.

The only thing SV gets out of that is people build TC and that kinda keeps people in the game. But you should be able to carve out a niche as a solo. I can, but I am the shit :D I will body other solos if I have to. There are tiers of competition. I will work w/ other people to body solos, etc. It's a dynamic world, which is cool, but in the end, there should be just as much opportunity for solos, as for small groups, as for zergs.

It's hard for me to say which has less opportunity, solo or very small group, but both are super grim. So they have to shit on each other eventually. I have tried super hard to not, and there are so few competent solos that I don't have to, really. But if there were, I would compete with them, and there just isn't enough opportunity for everyone on those levels. 85% of the content is zerg.
