A great Canadian band: July Talk. Frontman gives me strong Tom Waits vibes. The female vocalist is a bombshell, too. I'd drag myself through a field of broken glass just to hear her whisper my name.

The lead singer from Metric is my very favourite vocalist in the whole world. Mezzo-soprano is a register that just hits my brain the right way. Her name is Emily Haines and she's from British Columbia. She has a couple projects, but this band is likely the most famous.

RIP Taylor Hawkins
Foo Fighters will never be the same. One of my fav bands and while it is sad he passed away... The silver lining is that he will be remembered for the great drummer he was and not some has-been.
