is there a list where you can see which tree species are in which locations? I am looking for Stonewood.

stonewood not in game afaik, in MO1 I think was only available in Sarducca

Open https://www.mortalonlinemap.info/ and select the material filter for all types of wood.

Stonewood was terrible for bows in mo1. It was mainly a building material(and a secret use of mine), the tensile strength was trash tier.

Bows you want the weakest wood possible because immersive sv logic. Play with it on the bow calc, make bows of the same str but different woods.
