Why I think that meteor impacts and Demon Stones lead to PVP battles more often than a fight over Relics.

In the first game we had meteor impacts, Relic Wars, Monster Invasion of towns and Demon Stones.

Here a video of placing a demon Pillar in MO1.
Gates to the underworld were opened, allowing demons to spawn. Similar to an airdrop in battle royal games, which attracted players to secure the loot, fight each other or farm the demons together.

The meteor impacts from MO1 could be compared to airdrops in battle royal games aswell, but they were generated automaticly and wasn´t playertriggered as the Demon Pillars, After a while the meteor cooled down and then be dismantled by the group that is still alive after the battle for the rare materials.

The Monster Invasion of towns were GM triggered Events. The guards got disabled during the event and monsters started spawning everywhere in town

I think these types of world events create more PVP conflicts than the Relic Wars but this is for SV to decide.

It takes a lot of effort to break down the walls of a keep and steal the relics.
Smaller guilds are often excluded from the content.
I think more players would have got something out of the other world events
and that's why I would have prioritized these over the Relic Wars.

In MO1 there were several relics that could be placed in keeps that granted certain buffs and made pets level up faster. Usually there was only a fight over the relics at the beginning, when they were freshly spawned and they were only rarely stolen, as this involved a lot of work and planning. At some point a relic spawned, which reseted all relics and allowed them to spawn in the world again.

I think there should be a vote on which relics with which properties players find most useful, so that the fight for the relics and their theft is worth it, as theft requires a lot of organization and must be worth it.

The planned Dimension Gates is something new and could be very interesting.
In Albion we had Hellgates and In UO we had "Dimension Last Man standing Gates". A gate was opening in every town throwing the players into another dimension, where a big FFA Last Man Standing Ratgame took place. Those Events was always a lot of fun.
At the end of Koto training, there was always a last man standing ratgame, which the players always celebrated. It was fun even if you lost, as long as you could keep watching and follow the outcome. The winner received a special Discord title.
If Starvault plans something like that, you should be able to spectate the match somehow after your death.

There were also PVE events that could be attended through a Dimension Gate in the city.

An Albion we not only had 5 vs 5, 3 vs 3 and 1 vs 1 Hellgates but also 20 vs 20 Groupfight Gates called Townfights.

The world Events, Tressure hunting, advanced trinket crafting and gamble games are the features i am kinda most hyped for.
With the help of such dimension gates, many cool events can be developed. There are no limits to creativity.

There were even real life events in Ukltima Online. Old Lord British was always coming up with something.

It's a shame that Henrick doesn't play a role-playing king because he doesn't have the time.
