Why guilds as they exist are not good for the game

See, this game works with the premise of the „power of friendship“ in some sense. This is Fine by itself but the implemantation is quite a Bit over the top. Too many members which can be apart of a guild, too many allies you can have and a cap of how many guilds can be wardecked (nonsense).

People all the time complain about zergs, but Never about guilds, because they Profit from the System while not realizing they are a Part of the Problem.

Small guilds also have a huge disadvantage and can not compete with the bigger guilds for Ressources when it comes to Meteors, the new outpost System etc. Sure they can form big alliances. But this ultimately leads to zergs which many people complain about.

Yes, it is easier to win as a zerg, because Numbers are a huge factor in the game. But this shouldnt be the case. If you reduce the possible amount of members for a guild to lets say 30 and the Numbers of allies to 1 or 2 youd still have a zerg Problem but only if Players actually get together online and actually Play.

This would also make the game much more dynamic. Because you‘d have more groups contesting ressources and outposts which ultimately works in favor of the new outpost system.

It would also make the game more accessible for Solo Play. Nobody stops you from forming bonds with other people and Share crafting abilities, ressources and form groups to roam without being in a Guild.

Not having alliances as big as they are Right now would also lead to more roaming, more potential targets and forces you to actually choose the next steps for a Transport, a roam or a supply run wisely.

It would also encourage people to actually get better in General because the more or less Even Numbers would force Players to adapt and not purely rely on manpower.

Inb4 anyone tries to tell me they miss their large scale fights. We saw it just recently at the koto keep fight. 10 fps on expensive Hardware. Not necessary.

A 50v50 would be more than enough imo.
