Weapon swing speeds

Playing a fatmage, I don't know these things.

So what determines how fast a weapon is swung?

It's weight? It strength requirement? The wielder's strength? Or the difference between the wielder's strength vs the strength requirement? Or a formula I don't know?

It's a dynamic system. Each weapon handle and head modify the weapon swing speed and weapon charge speed. When comparing a sword to a sword, the weapon with more mass with swing/charge slower. A 2kg sword however will not swing/charge at the same speed as a 2kg war hammer.
