Veterenary could use a buff on horses

I think veterenary should heal horses faster (probably as fast as anatomy heals players) and better with less points invested. The reason being that right now if you're caught by a MA as a pure footfighter on horse you're most probably screwed. You need to get off your horse to have a fighting chance, and now it's a stationary object REEALLY easy to hit by an arrow. Even with 100 points in veterenary (why not just take mounted archery instead and take your time to heal a horse AFTER the fight, you'll have better chances in that case) a MA can hit your horse for more than you heal it, that is IF you're even standing close to your horse and try to heal it all the time. And then even if you win against a MA - you're stuck in the middle of nowhere in a large world that looks A LOT BIGGER if you are on foot. If you don't have 100 in veterenary, it's even worse.

Of course if veterenary is buffed, a MA can disengage, dismount, and heal their horse faster in safety and come back even when they run out of mana, but then again, if they do that, you can either heal yours too or just get on it and escape while they're busy.

It would probably help as well to be able to command your horse to actively avoid damage and run around making it less of a stationary object (real life mammals and other creatures tend to do that if they're taking damage), but it will probably get stuck somewhere or fall off the cliff, so, if there isn't a really good AI this probably not an option.

The world of MO2 is huge and i like that even if i have to deal with the necessity of having a mount with me all the time, but there must be ways to keep your precious mount alive without being forced into certain playstyle.

[oh and by the way, right now basically everyone has to have 100 mammalia for more damage vs horses and less pet points used and this is not a good design in a world where everyone and his mother is on horse, it's basically an action skill in the profession tree, please do something about it - would make sense since you refuse to put taming into prof tree for exactly the same reason]

Honestly not sure how anyone can bare playing non mounted builds. On a mount like 90% of the time in this game

To be honest at this point i'd like to avoid relying on horse too much if i'm NOT actually a mounted build. Something like "quick march" button - a skill that charges for say 30 seconds and then allows you to sprint at like 450-500 with heavily lowered stamina drain but at the cost of fast reserves drain. It should be interrupted by any damage. Only then maybe we'll see a lot more players on foot. It would also add a bit of realism (while taking away some) - you'd need to take lots of food for a long journey, armies that were on the march for a long time will have harder time fighting, and a fresh army would be able to intercept the tired one.

It's only an example of what can be done. I know it's controversal and will never be implemented the way i described it but there MUST be ways to travel on foot, otherwise MO2 will be known as World of Mounted. I know wagons are coming one day but not sure if it's gonna fix the issue. It will most likely still be much more effective for everyone in the guild to simply have a horse.
