After looking at a bunch of builds I kinda wonder if having a tank with archery would be a better build then a hybrid with melee and magic. I'm curious on what you all think. I have an Oghmir tank build that looks like it could be great and a Human hybrid with spiritism that could be great too. A part of me thinks the Oghmir build could be easier. What do you all think?

As for easier, yeah playing melee is a lot simpler than magic or hybrid imo. I play oghmir mage just because I like playing a mage in games not because I think it's the best. But I'm personally anti-hybrid. I think its only useful if you want some magic just for healing your pets or horse back up. There's not enough attribute points, clade skills and active skill points to efficiently play melee and mage at the same time, would only advise it if you think it's more fun and you don't really care about being the best
It all depends on how you like to play. You have pretty much outlined almost all builds except thursar warrior. Sounds like you are a bit conflicted. You just have to pick which one you like the most not which one is “best”. “Best” will change as the game grows and skills/clades/stats are changed.
in the end, if you do change your mind, re rolling is very doable. A pain in the ass sure, but not that difficult.
