Swift Riding

I wanted to test Swift Riding in beta, but it's a slow skill and I didn't finish it before wipe.

Does anybody know...
What level you need to see an increase in speed? (I reached lvl70 and it made no difference)
What % speed increase it gives when fully trained?

I've reached a lvl over 80 and no difference in speed. Probably not working yet!

It reduces Stam drain when running it has zero affect on speeds.

It makes a large difference in Stam drain at 100 and def worth it for an MA as Contorto mentioned.

Pretty sure it only affects the speed of 4th speed. Without swift riding you don't even have access to 4th speed.

I'm sure I had 4th speed (double tap W) before I trained Swift Riding, and the speed and duration of the "gallop" are definitely the same at Level 1 and Level 100 Swift Riding.

Steppe horse didnt have 4th speed without the skill at least. Desert horse might.

Every 10 points in swift riding should be about a 1% increase in speed if it follows the 10% that swift riding did in mo1.

Wrong information.
I havnt yet swift riding at all (grey skill) and all horses I used have 4-speed including steppe horses/ My tests:
Steppe horses speed: 850\910
Jotune horses speed: 773\827
Mongrel horses speed: 785\840

We had a guild outing yesterday, we still have 3 players without swift riding. They can not use 4th speed.

I play with my wife and we both use 4-speed without swift riding skill on all horses.

its just reduces stam usage for the horse

From the reports and discussion, it is half broken. It seems to reduce the stamina drain, so you can ride fast for longer, but it doesn't actually increase the speed, so either the skill is broken or the description is wrong.

It totally is, a good rule of thumb is to not listen to the poster who claimed it isn't as they are always confident and regularly misinformed

Keep throwing inheritance at your problems and the problems go away!
