Currently Supply Houses, Lines, and Towers provide defense to all guild own assets regardless of where they are on the map.
So you can place a house, put a stone in it, and make a chancery/supply house anywhere you want. Even if it's far away from your village.
This allows for griefing mechanics like placing structures in your enemy's territory, while being protected by supply structures on the other side of the map.
Then you can place an alert tower or barracks, etc. to further grief your enemies. Without them being able to effectively (or economically) siege it without destroying a likely fortified and physically distant supply house.
If it's being done by a keep guild, those buildings are quite literally always invulnerable, while non-keep guilds will need a number of towers for that benefit. But regardless, a supply house makes destroying any structure economically impractical.

These supply structures need to be given a range that only impacts the territory of the guild. For keep owning guilds, that extends throughout their circle. And for non-keep owning guilds that should be kept local with the possibility to spreading to adjacent circies.
Gives further benefits (and incentives) to keep guilds and removes this silly griefing mechanic (albeit rebalancing still needs to occur, that's not the purpsoe of this post).
