but i would recommend you to sub over thier account page because, fuck steam they take 30%. and sv could use that money to invest more in development. So it would be better if you dont buy your sub over steam.

As I know keys won't be connected to the web account, only steam.

I think it's already this way; remember when they said they wanted to add keys to the stress test, and they said they couldn't, because they were having problems getting more keys from Steam? I donated directly, because I agree with the "fuck Steam/30%" comment, but I'm pretty sure Steam keys are the only keys.

Yes, it works the same at this moment. But donations works slightly different and those seem to be atleast until release in that form.
I'm only speculating, but it seems real
