If you have played a game called Reign of Kings, you will know that it was very fun, and the biggest reason it was fun was because it had tons of small "useless" content like that. You had flutes, lutes, wardrums, warhorns, whips, etc etc.

Tiny little pieces of content like this brings a lot of fun and funny gameplay and IMO is pretty low effort to implement, just get it on the unreal marketplace (no BM).

It's not a bad idea. Actually, consumables like horseshoes, arrows, torches, shoes/boots that need replacement often would be good for the economy and help level base skills; in addition to craftable items for living spaces like musical instruments, vases, paintings, furniture, etc...
