Just a reminder that Lord of the Rings Online back in 2007 had a feature that allowed players to play their own tunes on medieval instruments in-game using the keyboard.
So I don't want to hear any excuses from SV that it can't be done!

Yea I believe it's pretty doable. Rust even has full MIDI support!
