Rentable Houses, Buyable Houses in Cities and Villages

What do you guys think about that, like houses are available to buy in Cities and Villages and have high price of course, and Moderate Upkeep.
And if upkeep not paid, its free for everyone to buy/rent.

The upkeep goes to the guild owning the city. (off topic= And the money of Tindrem or something goes the half of it into the Tindrem lottery, were each month anyone can buy a ticket. ok thats jsut another idea about gambling lets stay on the topic HOUSING.)

I would love that.

Yes, and you should be able to take over houses from other people in some kind of gang warfare inside Tindrem. Or maybe gangs control different districts in Tindrem and the house owners pay their taxes to them.

i wouldnt go that, far but does the guilds controlling the city not enough i mena technically its a gang, and you know.

or maybe towers inside the city? i dont know.

but i guess reselling them could be an option, but per account only 1house. Or 1 Appartment if its a 2-3 story building.

I like the idea of being a citizen in some place.

Yes, and it should have an NPC in front that you can use for selling your stuff. It could be linked into the broker, but have a few extra options. Maybe it will shout out your prices. Or you can use it to proclaim the size of your manhood.

I think Tindrem should be very special in terms of gameplay mechanics. Sortoff like rome with the different clans controlling the criminal underworld and poor folk having to rely on them. That kinda stuff. I feel housing inside of cities could tie into that.

Though I wonder about lots of stuff... like what happens to your stuff if you forget to pay rent. Can thieves pick your door and rummage through stuff. Will friends have access? To many questions on this topic Imo, BUT seems good for new players.
