Release angle of arrows too low?

Hey,
when I release an arrow it feels like it does not shoot straight but is released in an angle towards the ground.
I aim straight towards the head of an enemy right in front of me I hit the torso.
Is this just me or does it feel for others the same?

Edit: I failed. Was shooting the vendor, and the vendor always says toro... :/

What I do is max out my compass 200%, place that center on my target reference point (aim point) . Now you are properly set to fire and gauge targets indirectly. I believe what you maybe looking for is to have short bows deal a little more angle of trajectory on target at short range but will lack the power for those longer range engagements that are reserved for longer bows.

As always, realism has to be put aside sometimes in games-- we know that.

But I recall arrows in MO1 doing about the same thing; the only time they seemed to go in a straight line was if I was shooting at something not only close but also beneath my torso level, i.e. a Pig. Shots "fall off" with distance.

If you want the maximum range for an arrow from a bow IRL you'd angle it up 45 degrees, regardless of anything else. If something's closer in-game but your bow is not the most powerful, angle it up a bit less than that, and
realistically (pardon the dirty word) it will hit higher. I'm guessing that will work the same as it always did.

there is no bug, i think you mean that the curve drops too early too hard. you have a bow irl too right? it feels unrealstic like a toy bow and shaking after a long draw is missing too. maybe toy bows are the way to go.
