I was basically the only competitive fighter khallard/khurite in MO1 and the reason I left was they nerfed my stats even further and buffed the ugly ass half-breed orc fighters.

Are we going to be shoved into a race meta like last time?

Maybe make humans, veelas, etc have better weakspot % chance, I dunno.

Balance seems better this time around. Huergar and blainns might be "meta" this time around due to smaller hitboxes and no impact on damage bonus(according to Henrik). But might be too soon to tell.

Do remember they told us preset armors would be the same as the final result but its far from the same pluss the same armor weight has downsides now but not all the while we been testing. Damage bonus might stay but attributes decreased like MO1 so that hes partially right.

Same as new AI is simply the old one currently with the fleeing mindset that they tried out in MO1 that was quickly reverted based on feedback, now is the question if they can make it new and fun instead of the old and frustrating fleeing AI from MO1.

Always expect them to doubble back to MO1 and you wont get disappointed and hopefully will get happily surprised.

Ya there are so many ways to balace races. Maybe make half-orcs unable to wear plate armour, allowed in certain cities. Higher weak spot chances for other races that don't have damage bonus, weather bonuses, etc.

Oghmirs are still gonna be the slowest but the difference will be very minimal, Henrik said Oghmir<Thursar<Human<Alvarin would be the new speeds. Kallards are very likely to be viable for melee builds and I feel you for having to deal with being flat out worse when I had a Sidoian fighter for a while.

You really dont want buffed Veelas because they were worse to deal with than Thursars, especially in earlier days where they had noticably more speed and would stickyback you to hell and back.

Different speeds on races in MMORPGs is a disaster imo. So many problems for nothing but an inconvenience.
If you want to compete your forced into a choice like MO.
