Quality of Life Suggestion Mega Thread

Happy new year! According to the road map, all of January is dedicated to "Polish" so why not make a quality of life compilation? Try to suggest easy to implement suggestions rather than large system changes to increase the chances it gets implemented.
  • Gathering
    • When targeting a resource node, show how full the node is below the name so you can see if someone has been mining in the area.
    • Highlight individual pickables when close to them so you can see them through all the grass.
    • When depleting a node, display the “This resource has been depleted” message after the “you have gathered X” message so the message appears in the correct order.
  • Crafting
    • Before you craft an item, display the item stats and materials used so people don’t accidentally make garbage items. Note that if you use one unit of material to make an item, you already receive an error that tells you how much material you need to craft it.
    • Add name options to crafted food and potions.
  • Magic
    • When you cast a spell, use a second ray with a huge range to differentiate between missing a spell and casting out of range.
  • Inventory
    • Fix the issues with moving items to and from bank bags.
    • Fix the issues with moving items around in the bank when multiple bank bags are in the bank.
    • Add name options to bags.
  • Character
    • When seeing people from far away, their armor and weapon should be visible well before they get into range to see their name, generic armor would be fine until they get closer to you.
