That isn't what Mortal Online is about. It's a sandbox where danger is supposed to lurk every corner. If people are getting ganked, join a guild to lower chances of getting ganked. If you don't like the chance of PvP during transports, hire people to transport goods for you(Ruben is good for this).
The world and it's stories are molded by the players populating the world. Players have choices to make, and ways to negate loss in MO. It's up to them whether they utilize the sandbox or leave the game. They shouldn't expect MO2 to cater to their previous experiences from other games.
