Any weapon can be used as a tool to mine and chop wood with. I recommend you craft some weapons. Improvise, adapt, overcome.
you have plenty of pts
just use weapon crafting skills
bonetisue pickaxe have about 60 durability without maxed skills
more than enough to mine
