Possible gold sinks if the econony needs them.

This is a thread to discuss possible gold sinks that Starvault might be able to utilize to try and balance the economy. Here is some possible ideas:

1: A temporary upgrade to crafting stations in a town in exchange for gold. Say for example you have a group pool you contribute gold to, say 500 and it upgrades a specific crafting station with some form of effect for 1 day such as x% reduced mats for crafting or x% extra volume of goods produced based on the skill, that then goes on an x day cooldown. You could have each town with its own speciality, like tindrem armour crafting or mokhi has bowcrafting option this could work seeing as player crafted goods cant be sold to vendor, this would mean that it would boost player traded items while also removing gold from the economy. This would also result in more player caravans and transport of goods around the map allowing more potential for PVP from people hoping to raid the caravans.

2: Vendor totems: something that could potentially become a skill later on, but basically totems that take up an inventory slot, weight, can only have a certain number of them in inventory and creatures cant hold them. Could be things like 20% chance to not consume reagents on cast and can be used to provide a % boost to mana regen with 5 minutes cooldown. Others could be: 20% chance to not consume an arrow +1 strength towards bow usage (similar to alvarin glade), 2.5%chance to avoid durability loss and 2.5% chance to not spend stamina while parrying / blocking, ability to store 1 charge of spurt by channeling for 5 seconds by press hotkey, costs same mana as a spurt and does 1 damage but can be used as an instant cast spurt to attempt spell interrupt.

3: Maybe an ability to create soul bound weapons with a necromancy spell at the cost of like 25 gold of vendor mats (but for example maybe it used 500 nitre so some can be farmed but not all of it). LIke "Bone Binding" and so long as a weapon is made out of bone tissue on both the hilt and blade it can be turned into a soul bound weapon that can be traded. Or maybe scribing could be used to accomplish this like a bone inscription scroll that drops very rarely or is available from a specific vendor, you use the scroll and can input a bone tissue weapon.

This is a fascinating idea. In MO1 there were dragon bones that were a rare chance to spawn in a certain chest and it was something low like 4-12 units of it. You had get lucky and spend weeks farming it to have a decent amount to craft with. Now if you had to farm that AND learn a rare spell AND maybe it could only be activated by someone that reached the breakpoint of maybe 50 dragon bone lore and 50 scribing so you couldn't do it with the spell alone then I think this would be an amazing rare opportunity that not every player would be able to have for soul bound weapons. It's not even that strong because the weapon is made from bone so it won't have the highest durability.

Won't really be much of a gold sink but the idea was too cool for me to pass.
