Perishables and junk loot likely turns to dust, while items remain in loot pool until their durably falls low enough. Graves spawn randomly in a geographical region pulling in items from lost loot bags.

Players items and objects must be removed from the game. To make it relevant to make new ones. That the prices were normal for resources. So bags of loot should be lost - this is normal, I would just increase the duration of their life and the size of the bag itself, so that it can be visually found in the grass.

I could go for that. Doesn't have to be a grave, it just sounded interesting I guess.

I'd be ok with items hanging around quite a while. A player did spend the time to craft them. Less farming overall that way.

That was in MO1 they prob will put them back in eventually.

Maybe add grave robbers and scavengers who go around picking up loot in loot bags around the graveyard and random places that haven't been looted after a certain amount of time. Maybe one minute before the loot bag despawns. Make the timer long enough so that players who died can have enough time to return and pick it up.

Make them elusive and hard to chase down, but once killed they will drop whatever loot they've picked up along the way. After a while, more grave robbers and scavengers will spawn again, to do their rounds. The longer these opportunists are left alive, the more loot they're likely to accumulate.

Kind of got the idea from a late-80s arcade game called Golden Axe, where at night these tiny thieves with a sack on their backs would sneak up to the player at night as they camped in the wild. Kicking or swinging your weapon at them would cause them to drop useful items like potions.

I do think dead players should leave a grave instead of the canvas loot bag though. It's actually really hard to see loot bags on the ground most of the time

A padded room.
Agree with OP and look forward to the return of graves.

I think it would be cool if they could include real lost loot in the grave loot tables somehow.

Maybe they could keep track of the last few items lost and include that in the graves random loot table.

Along with any specific or standard loot table for the graves.

They would not have to keep track of a large amount of items.

Just enough to be able to inject some variety into the grave loot table.

Basically every time a loot bag despawns it passes data through this table which falls off at a set limit of items.

This would make graves have a very large variety of things for someone to find.

You would never know what you could get.

I think it would be much better than just a handful of things in a standard loot table.

@Amadman
SV should reintroduce shovels and allow us to dig up graves like back in MO1. Should make travelling a bit more interesting and entice more players to take the risk and go out into the wider world.

I totally agree!

I am hopeful to see this type of content return in the future.

Preferably with more varied loot.
