Please consider altering how Veela sight works so Solo/Small grp has better chance in dungeon

Pretty self-explanatory. But to clarify,

The suggestion:

If a Player and their pet too, isn't changing X,Y position. Please consider making them invisible to Veela Sight. So they can at least hide behind a pillar if a group is crashing thru the place.

Any group of 3 or more probably has a Veela, and in a dungeon of course they are using it.

This X-ray vision mechanic spoils anyone's ability to avoid a large group they can't really beat. (A 'Zerg', you might say if you are 3 to 1).

This is actually a pretty simple tweak, and it would add a lot of balance to the game in terms of playstyles.

Also just consider even the sewers for a new player who might like to actually use stealthy positioning to survive. They can't if there's a group there, and someone has Veela sight and uses it. Also, adding 'counter-abilities' isn't really that interesting. It should just be classic use of terrain, imo.

Thanks!

PS - is there a way for SV to consider this suggestion?

Because if the META is GROUPS, probably this isn't the kind of idea that would float to the top of POLLS in the first place. It may not even get noticed in the shuffle! Haha!

The polls might be a bit monolithic in that sense -- you're just polling whoever's playing the META.

But if you consider this Veela Sight tweak opens up game play for Solos or 2 player excursions, a bit more that could be verrryyy good!

they should just remove veela sight all together imo its too op and really takes away from the game.. why should anyone be able to veela sight and see everything going on through walls and floors? getting rid of it will just make everything better for everyone as a whole.

OR.... Add a crouch sneak to the game that silences your footsteps and turns off your name when someone puts their crosshair over you. This also denies veela sight.

The game needs a real way for people to sneak and be stealthy if you're going to "counter" zergs.

Stealth is the solo player's playstyle, and it is how they contend with the zerg.

Totaly agree with op. Vheela sight is broken. It should only allow to see moving players/npcs. The range is also way too big.
This makes surviving as a solo in dungeons impossible as the enemy vheelas will find you no matter what. Totally broken.
