Piercing overhead for daggers?

I find daggers very underwhelming PvP wise at the moment, but I had a shower-moment and thought it could be a fun weapon with a piercing overhead strike to actually get a mixup with damage potential. Maybe only when not wearing a shield? Thoughts?

An overhead stab for daggers is a very natural way to strike too.

I think changing different weapon directions to suit them more effectively would be awesome.

EDIT: for any weapon that is applicable, not just daggers.

Was literally about to make this suggestion myself. Daggers are fun to use but please for the love of god let me use an attack other than stab so i can mix up my attacks even a little.

Overhead stab and normal thrust should both be ingame imo. Overhead swing with a spear is dumb. It wouldn't be hard to tell the difference between a overhead stab and a normal stab.

Support, without buggy prediction theres no way to land a hit with thrust only weapons.
