For 3 days of playing in MO2 in Haven I reached max limit of action and craft skill points (1100 and 1200). Is it game over? In another games like MO2, for example Life is Feudal, I did it for 6 months and in MO2 I did it only for 3 days. How to play next? Whats the point to play if I can do nothing. I even didnt learn taming, crafting, riding, swiming, armor wearing, magic, alchemy, battle and another skills and I cant do it cause I reached the limit. I think that I need about 2000 points else in action and crafter for comfortable playing. Could you increase point limit to 3000 and 3000 or make a possibility to create many characters like in MO1 ?

you can unlearn primary skills to level new ones. although I do agree that the profession skill cap is a little tight, the point is to force you to specialize, and make up for what you can't do with friends/guildmates.

I know it but all what I learned just playing for 3 days is nececarry skills and nothing to decrease. I need running, jumping, swimming, eating, resting, blocking, gathering and all what I learned in tutorials. The problem that is nothing to decrease (all skills are nececerary) and I havnt free points to go next, to learn more.

that's the point of the game, that you can't be everything...or a blacksmith or a cook, everything else consists in playing together with other people

Yeaaaah... You know the point of the game is not to just grind up all the skills... It's to create a build choosing a limited amount of skills AND then taking part in group PvE and PvP content. That's why it's an MMO. If you buy an MMO game and ask on the forums for the devs to tailor the game to your sologrinding needs you are just a new kind of special.

Even to be specialist only in one 1100 and 1200 are not enogh. 1100 and 1200 are only for that to stay alive, to live in Myrland: to walk, run, eat, breath, gather. I did tutorial and have not free points. I am out of limit. 1100 and 1200 is about 10% of all. It not enough. Need more even to be specialst only in one business.

you've already spent all your points on a lot of different skills, now lower everything and redistribute it to the most important ones

Humans deserve more skill points, but not many more. It's mostly working as intended. The game isn't about leveling. Wait til you get to level master alloys haha. Or Tungsteel for that matter. ;)

Mounted builds do not need running, sprinting, jumping. I would also say if u have endurance take it down because it only gives you like 20-40 extra stamina. If your a foot fighter you need to have those skills. if not get rid of them. As said above this game is not a single player game, nor can you do it all. You have to find what you like to do, then base what skills you want around that.

I am PVE player only. I travel around all world therefore I need stamina, good running, swimming, riding, taming.
I played MO in 2011 and made most detailed map of Myrland (its more detail than online map now). So in MO 2 I want to do the same. But in MO I had about 4 or 5 characters but now I can create only one. Developers steal from me 80% ingame content. Very silly.

Jumping, resting, gathering and swimming, these are all secondaries. In order for us to help you, you need to be more specific with what you are missing. It’s possible we can help you figure out what lores to sacrifice that are not needed so you can get the lores needed. I’m just taking the logical approach. If you want help we can help you but first tell us what kind of build you are trying to do and maybe we can find points for you.

I need:

running

Yes, sprinting and combat maneuvering are 100% requirements unless you're playing a mountbound character which is not a good idea IMO for someone with a single account. They do make great alts though. (Removed jumping form the list since the skills you need for full run speed allow you to pick it up for free)

Survival is a totally optional skill. Most builds I make don't run it. If you live in certain places like Gaul'Kor or Meduli it's more important. But definitely not a requirement.

If you mean potion utilization. No it's not a requirement unless you have access to a lot of health pots. I personally don't have it in any builds I run or suggest. If you don't mean potion utilization I'm not sure what you mean. Taste identification? That's just for alchemists. There are no skills for eating.

I drop this in every single build I make. Some backline mages do like to dip out of the fight to rest mana back up but if you have points for that just put them in vitalism because most mage builds don't burn mana that fast unless they're using bigger spells than they should be for their mana pool. On a fighter, I wouldn't even consider this skill. It's objectively bad.

Yeah, this is a top-tier skill. 100% requirement for a fighter and even suggestible on mage builds since they can run shields.

gathering

Gathering is a secondary skill meaning it's free. You do need the primary petrology for fully efficient mining and botany for fully efficient woodcutting. These are not hard requirements but I do suggest them. Especially petrology. However, they both come out of profession points that are separate from action points.

all skills are necessary

I can see why you think that but trust me, I have spent A LOT of time helping people refine their builds and they are not. I'd be glad to help you too if you look me up on Discord. Kaemik#0057

From your avatar pic, I will guess you are the independent type. And being independent is being able to cover all your needs.

And you can. You can have 50 point in everything, being able to do everything. To be capable at everything.

But you won't be an expert at 100 % skill in everything, and that a real life thing.

You won't be a marathoner, MMA champion, swordsman, Olympics archer, with encyclopedic knowledge of all fauna, and being a senior metallurgy engineer.

You will get results with average (50 points), more than nothing and not the best but maybe good enough for viability.

This could be even more clear with not capped skill, you would still have your 1200 points to invest and you could invest all 1200 in only one thing... or know more things but with less depths. You just have to find what is good enough for you, even as a real life hunter, all the knowledge you have is not maxed, you can never max in real life knowledge.

Just a life advice.

I highly suggest maxing most of your skills. For many skills there is no point in taking them if you aren't going all the way to 100 and for half the skills that aren't that way they're still important enough I suggest taking them to 100 if they are a part of your build.

This game is meant to be played as a part of a group. You specialize in a combat role, you specialize in a profession. You do those two things super well and let other people who specialize in other roles and professions cover those things for you. And to be clear, this doesn't even mean your guild has to cover every single thing if your in a smaller guild. Even in smaller groups or as a solo player you can play viably as a specialist if you have the right connections.

Thanks guys for advices. I am solo player and didnt enter no one guild in 2011 and dont planning do it in 2022. But now I play with my wife, so we will be traveling together. Swimming is important cause I know paths to get from one city to another most safety. I know Myrland map very good and I know ways where need swimming, where needs high jumping, where need landing skill. For example, I know the ways from Bakti to Toxai or from Tindrem to Gaul Kor to get safty gold and on this way you never meet another players but for these ways I need good swimming, sprinting, jumping, resting, landing, riding, taming.

I dont wanna be the best, I just wanna do all. I am interesting in all pets, archery, riding, magic, woods, mines, alchemy, cooking, butcher and others. I want to get pleasure from the game to using all what MO 2 has. Only one thing I am not interesting - PVP (I dont wanna fight with another players). It seems I will beconstantly increase and decreasse skill points due all playing. Its very uncomfortable but I too like Myrland to dont travel for this reason. I will have to adapt. And get some skills only till 50-60 - good idea.

P.S. I and my wife are humans (4 tindremene). We did this to have most attribute pools and most talents with encreasing skill points in different skills.
