Saw a video about this game yesterday, seemed interesting. See alot of the people complaining and also see alot of the positives. Figured I would give it a shot. I see they delayed MO2 until Jan of 2022. So does that mean I should play MO1 in the meantime?

The more hours you have the more you complain. Once you get to around 1000 you are very discouraged by the game. 1k is usually when people give up hope.
As one of the people you've prob seen post some salty posts, I still recommend trying the game out. Just note that because its beta right now, there is a lot less going on. But, its a very good time to learn things when your stuff is worth nothing (because it will wipe in jan anyway), and has 100 x xp. I'm always salty because they keep changing the game to be farther from the experience I enjoyed. But different people want different things, you could think MO2 slams MO1.
