Let's be real. It's the entire server vs the GK alliance.

It's probably because people hire us. It only makes sense to advertise if someone is interested in your service or product.

Who? When?

Merchant Guilds such as RBT, Event Management, and Northern Bank.

We've also had a fair amount of individual contracts that come from solo players or small groups. Typically escorts or one-and-done kill contracts.

Tons of interaction with PvP groups which have lead us to the opportunities to scrimmage with them, which leads to potential contracts in the future.

Numerous connections and a positive standing in the community due to our presence, including our slow build up (Mostly due to the consistent server launch issues which have delayed everyone and everything) to our publicly hosted [CTX] Exhibition Matches.

Much of this has been going since January 6th of 2022.

I just gave honest criticism of your guild members map, but it's just how I among others really felt. It strikes me more of something someone did for fun then actual records and or keeping track of claims.

Yeahhh I dont think you know how politics in this game works. I ask guy A contesting a region who controls it he tells me hes running the show. Ask guy B oh nah they run it everyday.

Without ingame mechanics you'll never get an accurate map.
A lot of reaching out to various guilds and mixing and matching of intel and claims and also castles built went into this.

Also guilds with no castles are not even considered into this map and realistically shouldn't be for a lot of reasons but simply for the fact they cannot "own" territory without castle now or ever since Strongholds will not serve this function.

I understand the reasoning of why you'd say two people have varying opinions over control, but I'd argue the fact that since TC doesn't even exist and we've no clue how it will work; this map is essentially defunct and lacking true purpose. It illustrates assumptions based solely off of keep-holders.

So we agree on your first sentence of the second paragraph.

However I'd challenge the idea that not having a keep simply absolves you of any control. Maybe in terms of game mechanics, but in execution we'll have to see.

I still think the idea that the map should be broken down into rigid sections, then you fill in the spots that are made; rather then creating imaginary borders would be better. @Mortalitas Immortalis showed a map that was in my opinion much more appealing in terms of controlling land. Because it even shows in the map the influence of houses outside of keeps where as your implying...

If your salty your guild is not on this map. Get gud. Get a castle. *shrug*

Either way. It wasn't the first map, it wont be the last. So I guess we'll just wait to see a better one.

You're going to fit every house onto a map that exerts its own claim/influence? And that would be better looking or more accurate?

Okay dude lol

I'm not sure why your pushing to continue the conversation if its flustering you. I actually referenced an example of what I was talking about, which if you look isn't the case.

I saw you reference a person I saw no map link. Also I quote you "Because it even shows in the map the influence of houses outside of keeps where as your implying... " so Im just going off what you have said.

This was from @Mortalitas Immortalis with my own hand-crafted drawn red circles around what I was referencing.

And this was when housing spots were static and limited, so they did make a difference; and I feel with free placement it will have an even heavier impact on the control guilds impose.

Well Im not opposed to others making other maps better or not I think it just adds layers to the political scene.

My two issues with that map is 1. The regions have multiple castles in them so if theres two conflicting guilds in one region but one clearly controls its harder to reflect that the one guild controls it without showing favor to the other

2. WHat happens if a guild builds outside their zone of control? Would be much harder to reflect that as well

Yeah those are both pretty valid concerns.

I'd say for point one, if the controlling guild is clear - then it should be made clear. There is no favoritism in that.

As for point two, I'd hope the regions would be broken up finely enough that this could be demonstrated if effective; but not so much that we need to become ants to read the map.

I'd definitely would want to see some mock ups of ideas, but in this situation map creation isn't really an expertise of mine. I would just know what to look for.

Accept my contract. Thx

Sorry, CTX has turned into a PvE only Myrland Shard *SPOILER* guild.

Talus owns kran now according to map? On which server is this? Alt 7? The political map is invalid with multiple servers. Go ahead and close this thread up.
