The task vendor npc (at least in Fabernum) is currently located in the tavern which is an odd place for it to be.

A more logical place would be the building where the trade broker and veredari npcs are located.

Delivering a package for reward is a form of commerce, after all, howbeit a more dangerous and risky one.

It would also make it easier for players to head straight to the trade broker, veredari or banker after completing the delivery.

The task npc being with the veredari makes sense for now because the only task to test the system is parcel delivery. However, I think in the future depending on the general tasks that will be in the game maybe the tavern would be a fitting location. I'm thinking that the tavern owners get a lot of business with travelers passing through so someone looking to hand out work would want to be there to hear about what's going on in the world and find willing adventurers.

Personally I think it would be more interesting if individual NPCs had their own tasks so you would have to talk to the tavern owner to get a task of delivering a meal or cooking one. Then head over to the crafting area to drop off some resource.

@Icegoten Provided the npc quests are dynamically generated, perhaps by player actions and world events, then that might work well as opposed to the kind we normally see in theme park mmorpgs.

For example, a player might put up a delivery task at the task vendor then when other players go and see what tasks are available they can accept that task.

When seasons arrive in the game, the task vendor might request more of a certain resource during certain times of the year and pay more for it than they normally would.

In certain world events, let's say an invasion by risar or clothos maiden queen and an army of nitre spiders where they attempt to storm a town, the task vendor might ask for more risar or spider trophies and pay more for them than they normally would.

It would generate player activity in a more immersive and dynamic manner.
