Make bosses/dungeons worth farming

Bosses dont give enough materials for you trouble. You need 5 people at least to kill a spider queen but it only gives enough iron silk for one set of armor. For those players to get enough iron silk for the entire group they would need to do the queen 5 times. Its a 15 min wait between queens as well.

So if spider queen takes 5 mins then 15 min to reset times 5, you have a hour and 40 mins not counter travel time if you do it perfectly to get 5 people enough iron silk for on set. So you are looking at at least 45 mins of travel in most places, maybe even a hour, with good gear to fight her. After waiting for enough people to get ready for the boss.

Its not reasonable to farm a boss like spider queen for such little when other materials are good enough and far more available. Should be adjusted

For Troll there are ways to solo and due it along with more of them but it does take a while to kill it by your self or another. But again its not much materials for how long it takes when you can get other materials not that bad for far less time investment. If a troll is meant for a group then it needs to beneficial for everyone in the group to get something out of it material wise.

Like wise why farm mino king?

Not a lot of solo able content that would make a person want to log in alone to go do something as well. Dont have to make bosses solo able but can at least make some of the dungeons allow for solo players to farm.



For Dungeons they still need work like the spider caves. People still run past the workers ignoring them. You can just rename the workers to nitre guardian and change the base stats along with give them different drops in the mean time untill you get the guardians in. They also need to put webs up that you need to kill the web to pass which makes it more like a dungeon crawl then a run to the end to fight the boss. Nitre workers dont do much but are very big. Make them smaller so there is a reasonable expectation.

Also in these cave you should have special mineable resourced. Why not put tephra in the GK spider cave and pure malite in the crystal cave, and then maybe double yield granum as well in the caves. Or special granum which is double or triple the amount normal granum after you crush it.

I agree with all except the solo dungeons, they are group content and for a solo player to enter should mean death, MO1 had players solo farming nitre queens and the final room of riser dungeon which was really dumb.

Your ideas about dungeon progression with guardians and webs is great and I hope the devs are or will look into something like this as dungeons should be preparing you for the final encounter along the way by introducing mechanics and scaling difficulty.

Issue is no one is going to be able to do this content in groups except sparsely. Skill should allow people to complete group content solo. Gives a lot of content in down times, gets people out of towns, allows more supply for a market for these mats, and makes PvP more accessible to people who cant get a group.

I cant see any reason why Solo dungeoning shouldn't be a thing. It just opens up so much more content for the game that is locked behind getting enough people online for long enough to go to and then stay on for that PvE.

Groups are not doing it right now. And if you are providing solo content for dungeons then people show up to PvP those people because dungeons are populated with players.

I think some games forget that you need solo content to keep players logging in and hence joining a group for group content. You can't have one without the other. You don't really want someone to log off and never log on again. It's why most MMOs have dailys and weekly quests. Because if you stop playing for a week there's a chance you might just lose interest and never log on again. It's happened to me in many games.

The game has solo content, dungeons just aren't one such content. For instance you don't need a group to hunt/tame most creatures in the game, you don't need a group to mine an harvest resources in the world, you don't even need a group to kill bandits I easily solo bandits with vendor gear, only time I struggle with them is when the game spawns 3 casters on top of each other.
