Loot Colors On Illegal and Legal Loot (For New Players)

First things first I'm new so I didn't understand how things work.

I was in town and loaded up two horses to move all my stuff from Meduli to MK.

I saw a random blue bag on the ground and decided to "see" what they had. I saw a grey head and body in the bag and being an alchemist decided to take them thinking I wasn't stealing as stealing is usually "red".

Me and my two horses then get killed by the guards (half of my horses loot got looted by random players including my gold but hey it's MO2 haha)

I spoke to chat and learned that looting anything from a blue bag is pretty much always a criminal flag regardless of color. That makes sense, though given the "red equals bad" rule I didn't think that'd happen as the body parts were grey rather than red.

As a game dev myself, I think the color representation of actions are confusing..
1. Items looted from blue bags are not always marked as red (Specifically body parts? I'm not entirely sure as it happened a while ago, didn't try to loot the other stuff)
2. Your own loot is marked as red which is confusing considering red usually means bad

All in all I'm not too upset but I could see new players being pretty frustrated by this.

I think:
1.if you are looting an illegal corpse, the bag should always be red.
2. All of the items therein should always be red.
3. Your own loot bag or bags that are no longer "criminal" should be blue
4. Items in a blue bag should always be blue.

Thank you, I love the game! I just want to make it more intuitive for players :)

Yea if the heads aren't colored red along with the items, that is indeed misleading.

As a game developer myself it is red because red is the only color you can see in the ether realm therefore making it easier to find your lost loot

The system just needs to be written down in their journals or a NPC tells them the law. Lots of noobs end up in kran neg rep because they dont understand the law on stealing.
