kicked from queue after 7 hours

My game froze up after queuing for 7 hours, when I re-joined I was put back to where I started at 2800 in the queue. What am I supposed to do if this happens again?

That is very weird because when i cancel the queue and re join (within 5 minutes) it keeps my spot. Not sure why it reset yours.

theres a chance it was after 5 minutes, I was alt tabbed I dont really have the patience to stare at the queue for 7 hours

Yea in that case nothing you can do. Queue only holds your spot for 5 minutes.
