I was kind of surprised I was able to max out my skills in 4 hours. Glad it's not super grindy but idk felt a bit too easy for an MMO

yea it's brutally awful. Combat skills are ok but what are you gonna do w a full spec combat char and no crafter.

Would if I could log on lol. But you know mental offense, magic skills, etc. Just need to squirt yourself for like 4 hours to max all out

seems like they took out skill gain on dummies (as someone said), or I didn't get anything while hitting them. It's pretty lame people can magi themselves and gain skills, given that change.

It could be just magic idk how it is for everyone else. All I know is I already maxed all my magic stats except for concentration and ecumenical

I ain't mad. It'll be easy to level swords n shite even if you gotta just hit zombies or whatever, but the crafting stuff is utter grind. Even extraction is pretty bad, so bad I'm reading the books.

theres more to life than spurting yourself. Get ECU to 100 and Spiritism to 100 and fulmination, earthquake, portal, and mental projectile then you're done.

By design, likely. This is not a normal MMO, and there is no "level" system in the traditional sense. You've either got your skills at a level where you're competitive in PvP against people of the same skill level or you don't. Not much of an in-between.

That means in turn that making people level combat abilities too slowly just results in a miserable game experience, and nobody wants that.

way too easy. Most people will be bored out of their tree in a couple of days, with fully skilled/statted fighting and nothing but broken spawns everywhere. Clades are super fast too if you just stay in Haven and grind for a few hours.

the whole thing is quite underwhelming. Sure crafting will take a bit more, but not that much. Then what? Race to cronite?

too late to change now though. I would have started with a much lower skill gain and you can always increase it.

Nah. Clades are long term grind. Look, it's almost day 3 and barely anybody ganking. Everyone farming and leveling. I for one can't wait till the real game finally begins. You don't need carrot on a stick to play this game.

Otherway around and people would have complain about the game being too grindy I guess, but sure the game need some loops to keep us entertained if skill lvl won't

I'm fine with it, but I guess my point is that most games like Albion Online keep players playing by having long grinds, and that as a sub based game I would've thought they would drag you out at least a few months to read books and max your skills. But we'll see I guess I just hope players don't run out of stuff to do after they max, get a horse, and put a house down

The grind comes from the constant need for materials, at least for a good while. Really just depends on your playstyle and in-game politics.

I think you all got into the wrong game. Mortal Online is not a game were people can get overleveled and stump on those lower level. Every one gets to the same playing fiel fast, to make it skill based.

And if grind is what you all want... wait till wars start to happen all over the server. The grind for amor and weapons will never end.
