A idea to have a town posted board in each town. Dev can post messages there, the Empires can post messages there, and general help info as well like X NPC is wanting Risar Heads or green gems.
Some of the spots players can bid on to leave messages. When Help chat no longer becomes General what it would be easier to advertise guilds, trades, events, player bounties, and helpfull info.
Have the official board that contains the notices from the empire.
The player boards will have different lengths of time with different prices and a limited number of spots. So like 10 two day postings starting at 1g, 5 two week postings starting at 10g, and 3 four week postings starting at 20g.
Who gets these spots is determined by going up to them and bidding on the posting you want. Since it all resets at the same time the board will take the top 10 bids for the 10 day posting and select those. Instead of having to bid on multiple postings to increase your chance.
Would be a good gold sink that adds to the game, is optional, and usefull.
Of course for moderation people who are chat banned will be banned as well. And you can get chat banned or reported ect...
