For all pickables; plants, stone, wood. Could we have a toggle that makes all interactables, one icon or shape or something?

not sure i understand... each item has its own mostly unique icon once in your inventory.

i wouldnt mind some kind of active way of highlighting some things in game, lootbags for instance are notoriously difficult to spot in dense foliage. even if limited to your own loot bag that would be sufficient.

some herbs like drakon and rocks like bor can be difficult to see and might benefit from something similar as well. maybe a potion you could drink could give heightened vision for these things. suppose potions could be created to grant many of the passive clade gifts in a short-term way, like nightvision or minor defense etc. would be very interesting to see potions become more than just simple hp recovery

When we walk up to something and the name pops up, that whole message is an icon to me. I didnt mean icon inside the bag.
Technically its a symbol or rune, but items are interactable, so we are kind of clicking on an icon.
Maybe just one toggle option. Either we see the name of the item or an alternate representation. Its a visual assistance tool for me. As my focus is divided, I use my peripheral vision to make sure im not missing any pickables. When the pickles "icon" flashes on the screen, its bothers me, because the "icon" is always different. Meaning: the words are something short or long at it grabs my attention far too often if theres only 2 or 3 varieties around me.

i dont mind them having the name of the item you'll be gathering... maybe adding an icon (an actual graphic in this case) to let you know the type of action you'll be taking when you hit R would be nice. trading/resurrecting/mining/cooking/extracting/woodcutting/gathering/etc. its mostly obvious but having that consistency where the icon shows whenever doing action x is a good thing

Its just for visual assistance. Being thats its a simulation, my attention is divided elsewhere IRL and in game. While running through the jungle, im looking for pickables I havent seen yet. When 2 or 3 pickables I already know keep popping up, its distracting. It grabs my attention when I dont need attention, drawn, to those 2 or 3 repeating pickles. Im using my peripheral vision to scan for the actual pickable on the ground and its distraction, to have to read words over and over of crap I already see.

Id like a universal icon for it. A small or large red triangle would be great (variable in size maybe). Maybe later, other icons could be added.
If I had control, Id throw them on a cash shop bc theres zero advantage given to me. I just need an assistance tool. I'll go purchase that tool and make it work. ty.
