I hope the Devs and all PVP Players will watch this Video.
It is a summary of all the good suggestions in the forum, on how to improve the combat system. A feedback video, so to speak, about all changes in the combat system, the new mechanics such as the repost feints and the new counterreduced mechanics. It contains feedback about the increased stamina consumption, as well as many suggestions what else should be improved. I also added nostalgic music to the video. Does anyone know what game this soundtracks come from ?

I would also like to link this video and this thread in the appendix.

Like for jump stamina being too high and counterreduction being a crutch mechanic for parrybots. That being said, I disagree on the topic of shields. They aren't that great tbh, it limits your spear to only 1 real attack [predictable, easily blocked] and the stam drain on a decent shield when parrying is insane. You're sometimes better off not even bothering to parry if it's a light hit with a sword and just eating the small amount of damage rather than stam out.

And yeah, Snasen's video on ping is top notch. Can't call this game's melee truly competitive until that is improved and they add a normalization on parries up to 150 ping so you can suffer like us NA West and Aussie players do...and remove the counterreduction crutch for defensive players.

i think this mechanic is very good if you reduce the time the counterparry window is open. i like this mechanic and i can fight 1vsX the more skill i have.

You mean the time window in which you get reduced damage from other players after a parry. i need to test that further.
So far I can't get used to it
