To get us ready for thievery (in 1-2 years when SV gets around to it), here is a video to help future thieves! You cannot steal someone equipped armor, but you can trick them into equipping something else!

Do not have any light items that can be lifted out of your pockets when you log out. Or Lashaniqua will surely find and take them a split-second before your logout timer runs out.

Did guards in MO1 not have ranged attacks ? In MO2 you would get 2 shot by a lictor guard teleporting to you or outbursting you for 150 damage while other guards pepper you with arrows.

They do have ranged attacks yes, but they operated on line of sight so it was possible to sneak past them if they had their backs turned to you (provided you didn't get too close to them). Also, the lictors guarded the more sensitive areas like the bank and didn't teleport to you, if I remember correctly.

I actually would really like them to work on thievery as the first item on their next roadmap. Hopefully a release in the next 2-3 months tops.
