How to solve the MC Dilemma

In every discussion about the Murder Count System the argument comes up that most MCs are unjustified and come from legitimate spontaneous group battles.

One approach to solve it is the war declaration system, but that doesn't account for spontaneous conflicts.

It seems to me that the solution for these scenarios is a duel command for guilds.

One member of a guild can suggest a duel to another member of a guild. If that member accepts both guilds become grey to each other in a certain radius for a certain time and they can fight out who gets to be in the dungeon etc.

So no one can say anymore that they had to get MCs just because they got into group battles

Were you ever in a group fight? It's not like they groups stand next to each other for a minute and watch each other before engaging. They will try to push the surprise-moment.

When you're out and see another group / guild it takes a few seconds for the fight to begin ( and sometimes end ) there is no "wait let me ask for a duel", if you're outnumbered why would you accept knowing you'll probably lose ? The wardec system is a good Idea, you see someone red > combat, sad thing is we can't fight in towns anymore ( but it's to prevent big guild harrassing smaller ones so understand ), you can't ask the others if they want to PvP or not in the wild in this game, it will never work

Imho turn criminal actions off and only defend yourself, dont get any MC and be really blue.
Is it a disadvantage? Yes
Or No if you want to make sure you stay blue.
You want have the initiative sometimes?
Because you have ememies you actively attack? Are you a blue then?
No you arent you Just have a different cause to attack first than others and they can give you a murdercount for that.
Know there is not good or bad. The ones who say the others are bad are the people who get called bad by the others.
They are both not really peacefull or neutral or defensive, but aggressive to each other and therefore they can become grey or even red.
Doesnt matter what side you are, good or bad, you took Initiative and therefore became grey or red.
Real blue means you are defensive only and you never take initiative to attack and therefore you never become grey or even red.
There is no problem or "accidently" becoming red.
There are aggressive and defensive players.
Some aggressives hide as blue and only attack their enemies, but they arent really blue they just have fewer enemies than reds or RPK's who attack everyone.
Most blues are actually grey.
Blue to me means you are really defensive and never take initiative.

Yeah, but then both sides are getting murder counts.

The question is how do two groups engage into a mutual conflict without one side being able to give murder counts to the other group?

A duel system would at least give them the possibility to do that.

Another idea could be that guild members are sharing their criminal actions in proximity.

So when one guild member becomes grey, all the others also become grey.

Then the attacked can't get murder counts for defending themselves to another guild
