How many points in taming / animal care / veterinary for riding a horse

~12 hrs I was only on foot, but slowly I had to accept that it takes far too long even as veela.

What is the:

1. Max level of taming for free running horses?

2. Max level of a horse?

3. advantage of animal care 0 vs 50 vs 100 for a basic horse

4. how many points in veterinary to heal your horse?

5. how many points in herding for 2 horses?

Can someone explain it to me, I wanted to buy a horse in meduli, but there was only a single one to sell for 12 gold.

Why aren't there more basic low level horses for sale, people use them for their guilds or themselves I guess?

1. Technically 125, but no one is probably ever going to experience that.
2. 125
3. animal care at 100 halves the time to level up a animal. 50 would be 25%
4. 0+bonus is enough to heal, but it won't do a whole lot
5. depends on the level of the horses, the skill only reduce the penalty put on your max allowed creature levels. How you fill the new maximum depends on the pet levels.
6. Guess no one was selling horses at the time?

So you don't need Animal Care, it just takes double that long as with 100?

Ah okay so as your pet gets better it needs more points?

I guess I skill
Taming 50
Veterinary 25 or 50 (so that I can heal it, I'm stranded with a 2hp horse right now)
Animal Care 4(+3)

PS:

1) how many horses can you stable in one city?
2) Does a horse in a stable heal / train / get fed
3) how many pet points does a horse with lvl 25 / 50 / 75 need?

I have a vague memory of level up being every hour? so with animal care max its every 30 minutes. But it could have changed.


Three things determine how many pet points a pet takes;
The creature, the animal lore related to the pet and its level.

If you have max creature lore for them the following is true;
A level 25 wolf takes more pet points than a level 25 bush pig.



So to tame and own a pet you need to at the bare minimum have enough;
Taming + Creature lore
Creature control high enough to have enough pet points.



If you are just using bandages to out of combat heal your pet you can be completely fine with 0+bonus in veterinary and just continuously slapping bandages on it, if you have the points for it, might as well cram some points into it though.

You can also feed the horse food with a healing modifier, like Salvia and Sea dew leaves. Feed them in small amounts and it'll get pretty good healing.

I need enough pet points so that I can ride to the horse spawns and bring back one of them without going on foot.

By the way do you know if the marksman skill book is already in the game?
