Whats the mechanics for carrying a house deed around? Does it drop and death? That would be very silly, please tell me it doesnt.

The deed itself will drop.

But once you get it placed it is pretty much locked in.

It drops. In the same way a home can be blown up with a siege or a group of angry players with hammers and a lot of time to kill.

Don't overextend yourself to try for a home unless you feel ready to take on the risk.
