Have you considered adding more NPC towns? In this way content is more accessible.

The thing about this game is, building a fixed house is fun but limited. You then live out of that house, in order to use it. Or you live out of one of several NPC cities near the content you want to do. But it feels like for a huge game world, there's not much NPC town to use.

Grinding the same local content over and over gets stale. So being able to change that up could be better for the game play.

So what about more NPC towns of blue and grey status. Scattered around the map. They don't have to be huge but something like more Kranesh or Jungle Camp would be good. Like the scene from the log in screen.

Thinking about how this would affect the gameplay, respawn-ability, and ability to get to stage game play near content?

I agree. With how huge the map is more towns should have been added. The jungle could use an additional small town, as well as the central plains (could be right on sausage lake), and the far East. Toxai its just a useless town because of its completely isolated location. Funny enough they did add Hyspeia as a new town….but put it right next to Fab, but also incredibly remote and tedious to reach. So useless.

They dont have to be big, like you said, but somewhere to have a bank, priest and some vendors.
The map is just too damn big and largely empty, and riding from town to town its a serous time investment. I cant remember last time i bothered to go further than the closest town to where my characters are logged at.

This is why every guild has to basically build their own town outside every dungeaon or farmable spot. This however does nothing for the solo or small guilded player.
