tbh i dont think any release of an MMO in the last 20 years hasnt had eternal queues
I personaly think they should restart server every 6-8hrs (30 minute notice) to kick all the people logged in/macroing to make room for people in queue (Shouldnt be set time exactly to prevent log in macros reliably snipping the spot back) this will clear up the game for active players who are trying to play rather than staying logged in while they sleep.

Decided to finally leave haven, knowing it would screw me most likely. But I wanted to try and actually start playing the game so I risked it. Queued 3 hours never got in lol... So I can join you guys in broken character club that just cant queue apparently.
Sorry for your loss. I thought of trying it for my veela cuz she's just on taming, but not sure... hmm.

I Played exclusively in Haven for the first few days raising skills and avoiding the chaos. Then, after overextending my welcome in Haven, I decided to venture to Nave. I was in the queue for about 3 hours; the queue dropped; I waited approximately another hour after flushing my DNS settings. I got in and was playing all day uninterrupted. The servers have been a bit laggy today, I imagine, letting more people in than usual as they test.
Not sure I was reading recommendations from much more intelligent people than myself in Discord. But coincidently, I got in 20 mins late. Who knows.
I closed the MO2 Client down, then I made sure I fully exited out of Steam. At that time, I went to cmd prompt and did DNS flush. Restarted steam and logged back in.. it could have done nothing though lol.
If their total server capacity is 2000 I don't see why they thought it was reasonable to try to market this game worldwide. Honestly very sketchy to me, even having been a longtime player of MO1. They knew there was going to be alot of players, we had these same exact login issues during every single stress test.. yet none of it was resolved. By the time any of this is addressed (if it is at all) the queue issue will have been resolved by players simply giving up on playing the game and we go back to an MO1 tier failure after we get 35-40% positive reviews on Steam. I am not meaning to complain but think about it, only about 6000 players are trying to login but we are getting 10+ HOUR queue times. 6000 players is not that many. Any other gaming company on earth they'd laugh at how easy that would be to accommodate.. I just can't understand why they couldn't or did not see this coming especially after the large number of preorders.

Hello Queue friends,
I'm Forming a Brand new guild called "The Queue". For joining the guild you have to get at least 24h queue experience, this is the core of our brave goal. First the Queue members have to prove their loyalty by inflicting themself a daily priest at the Queue god.
In a second time, members have to spend at least 4h per day in the queue to bring faith and hope to unfaithful. I'm actually very confident about our power and number, pray the Queue god and maybe, maybe he will lead you to the holy server.
If we gather our strenght nobody will stop us as the new order of The Queue ! Who could stay forever pray the Queue ? Only us my friend ! So join the army ! JOIN THE QUEUE !
The biggest bullshit Ive seen is that the game is now on sale while most people cant even play. They kept saying that they could and would take the game down from sales.
Ignore players mentioning the need for multiple servers, ignore players mentioning the need to lock keeps, and ignore the players informing them about exploiting haven. Now they have a tainted start of their world and we probably wont be able to even play for a week because they keep selling their game and at a discount.
I was hoping this would be a fresh start or SV and MO but they are continuing to ruin it.

I feel like every mmo launch is a server disaster, which makes MO2 looks less bad. But whats funny, is that if the servers were working and people could play, there would likely be tons of negative reviews on standing, 1 character, walking simulator, etc lol.
