This is our public thread for discussing diplomacy and answering questions about the guild. Our recruitment thread can be found here:

To start things off, we're seeking guilds interested in trade early on. Send me a message if you're interested. Let me know what you anticipate having, what you anticipate needing, and where you will be located on the map.

We're going to limit this to 3-5 groups in different areas of the map for now but any group who makes such an agreement will automatically get an NAP with us for the first week of persistence and discounts on mercenary contracts. We may extend this into a more permanent arrangement if we particularly enjoy working with your group.

The nomadic nature of our group should have us moving all over the map so feel free to request whatever you want and we'll see if we can find means to acquire it.

The following is out contract policy cut and pasted from our Discord. If you wish for your contract to be handled discreetly please PM a warlord or captain about it.

Expect the following from mercenary contracts:
1. We will decline a contract against any ally or non-aggression-pact group.
2. We will generally offer discounts if the contract is against a group whom with we have open hostilities.
3. Once a contract is made, it is law unless you violate our agreement. We will not accept higher offers from your enemy to join their side instead. The contract will be fulfilled if it's within our power to do so. If for some reason we cannot fulfill our terms you are entitled to repayment of any funds already paid.
4. If you ever violate the terms of a contract with us, no more will be made with you or your group unless suitable recompensation is offered.
5. Contracts made with trainees are NOT valid. Only captains and warlords have the authority to make contracts. If you make a contract with a trainee or a non-captain veteran we will eject them from guild should they not honor it, but that is the only compensation you can expect from us so do so at your own risk.

Contracts come in both the form of mercenary contracts and protection contracts. With a mercenary contract you are paying us to perform a task such as to destroy a siege camp, protect a trade convoy, harass an enemy etc. With protection contracts you're essentially paying us to not do something. This could be as broad as getting on our non-aggression-pact list, or as limited as not harassing you in a specific area or refusing to accept opposing contracts in a war. The value of protection contracts will be based on how much content we feel we are losing out on by accepting.

"Our guild is newer to the game. Can we run with you guys in the roaming horde?" Absolutely. Yes. You can enroll your entire guild in our trainee program if you want. Just like with other trainees this does not put upon you any kind of obligation to us in the future. We'll help train you and bring you out to do content with us like any other trainee and you can wear you own guild tags while doing so.

I know how hard it can be to start a new guild in a new game sometimes. We're glad to do what we can to set you up for success.
