Looking for suggestions on which town to start in. I am new to MO 2, I have stayed in haven to avoid queue. I have 70 in craft skills to make myself bow/melee wep and armor using animal materials which I have lore with. Was going to drop to just 1 profession and buy or trade for other gear but with no brokers on mirrorlands yet I might stick with my self crafting for now. Playing as a veela using axes/bows and looking to possibly level up MA. Level 11 clades so far. Excited to play in real game even if it is a mirrorland for now. I also have the skills needed to tame my first horse if that makes any difference on a good starter town. I am currently solo with no guild. Will start looking for guild once I get to play main game.

Like I said in another thread: if you are going to extract, I'd probably start in Meduli, but I'd grab Jadeite book in Tindrem first. If you're gonna be mounted, I'd start in Bakti because all of the riding books are there + other khur books.

I'm skeptical of most new player friendly people, they just wanna recruit you. Some guy from integrity gave me a horse when I was walking around and I was like hey good look bud, and he's like yea, that's just how we roll. It's like yea tbh THATS HOW I ROLL TOO, but I'm not joining your guild :p But there are a few real nice people in Bakti. I grew up there in MO1, so I am biased. There are also some people I don't like as much thooo. Duli is nice tho because it's got so many essential books + desert horses. If you're planning for MA, I would say Bakti is a no brainer, tho.

Yeah I won't be doing metal extract. Mostly crafting from animal parts. 2 votes for bakti so far

If you are new to MO I'd always recommend Tindrem first. The graveyard is inside the city walls so you aren't at risk of gankers the whole time, and when you've ground a few gold and some clade points you can move on to slightly tougher enemies in the sewers. Once you've got bored with Tindrem (ie. not very long) and got a horse, then head out for your first real home. Plenty of choice, but I agree with the suggestions for Bakti. Probably the most new player friendly, and a fairly central location.

Morin Khur ffs. Very few RPK live here, the red priest is now like 40 minutes walk from town through the canyon, saburra, calx, granum and all you need for steel in and near 1 city, no need to walk over people's heads to get to the bank.
