Global murdercounts?

I am kinda disappointed about these new global murdercounts.
I died in khurite area, teleport to Tindrem home priest and now have the option to report the crime that took place in another region......

Is it not possible to make murdercounting regional?

As far as we know, it was limited by the node infrastructure as to why you couldn't report murders previously, e.g. Mohki/Sausage Lake nodeline even though the town and where you died was very close. They've now fixed this and as a result, you can report globally. That said, the murder system sounds as though it's getting "revised" along with new zone rules. We'll have to wait and see what this brings.
