If you are in the range of minimum requirements and you get this error. For example if you have an gtx760/770 whit only 2Gb of VRAM.
Close game, go in the Steam Library, right click on Mortal Online 2 -> Property -> Set Launch Options
In the input field write -force-d3d11
Save and close, restart game and select DirectX11 on the startup window.

P.S: This need to force the startup windows (to select directx) if steam doesn't start it automatically.
