Even when the prices do stabilize an stop fluctuating there still going to be a demand for matz, gear, pets, potions, etc. It a full loot PVP game an items permanently break sooner or later. You make it sound like the player market still stop moving and demand will cease to exist. Demand will always exist it just prices for items will be set an be determined, and people won't try an be dumb by spending 100g on a horse out of desperation of being the first mounted archer to have a horse.
No what I ment is the market will be stable after 5 months. It will be like that than forever the demand the prices and the sellers. What I actually ment more or less stable prices. I mean for MO1 it was like that. Privces after tha tonly changed if a patch game that destroyed the balacne of one thing. Than that got changed but unless that nothing will change after that. xD

The market will regulate it self and my prediction is after 5 months its a good and stable and awesome market. But stuff will not change much after.

But really interresting how the economy will be in the first 5 months.

I dont really buy that. I remember MO1 when steel started out at 5 to 10 gold per 1k, then went to 50, then 100 and by the end it was well over 1000 gold per 1k.

i picked steel as an example because its pretty much the staple material for most things in MO1. However the same happened to all other things to some extent.

as people farm day in and day out and hoard larger and larger sums of gold inflation takes place and prices just climb and climb. Cant stop it.

Prices changed every time something balance-changing was introduced.
Auto-TC-Mines reduced the price significantly. Removing them again increased the price again. Adding Sarducaa flooded the market with tons of gold, resulting in increased material prices.
But expect those events the prices didn't increase that dramatically (maybe +10% every year).

Matz actually won't even increase in price. Most people level crafting skills using bone tissue from the zombies and leather from pigs. Considering these are the easist items in the game to obtain, as in you can literally loot the bone tissue of zombie bags that others have already killed for you, an leather is kill one pig get 3-5k leather. Well not much work really in getting these matz. An as it stands you only need 500 bone tissue an 300 leather to max out a craft, so at launch it will only be 50k bone tissue 30k leather. That may seem like a lot but that easily obtainable in less than an hour. It not like other MMOs were you can only increase your crafting skill by using high grade matz at higher crafting levels.

An most people making a house super early in the game will be gathering the resource to make it themselves, sense you know they want it build ASAP an waiting for people to post it on the broker for an affordable price defeats the purpose of building it ASAP.

I really do wish skill increase would be based on the quality mats you use, or quality item you crafted.

Leveling Magic skills work this way. So it can be done.
