So take your time and don't get burned out in the next month by gathering resources or killing zombies for 12 hours a day. It's a marathon not a sprint. You don't own to anyone becoming like an Elite Dangerous or Eve Online pilots who wasted months on mind killing grind to get the badass ships and then would lose all reason to be in the game because he was there for the grind in the first place. This MMO, we here together for each other - to socialize and do stuff for fun, rage, excitement, wanderlust and happiness. So ignore on how you "suppose to play correctly". Choose the character that you actually would enjoy having every day, choose profession that would bring a smile to your face, choose activity that you will feel good about it, choose interaction that will make you feel proud of yourself.
