Donated but cant download beta

I made my account and donated $39.99, got my steam key but it says to go to the game's steam page, and click "play"
on the steam page there is no "play" button, please help
the email I used for mortal is different from my email on my steam account, is that a problem?

Not sure if you got help but I will post this here for you and others.

You need to go to steam and "activate a product on steam".

You can find the option under the "games" pulldown menu in the upper left corner of the steam client.

There is where you will be asked for the key.

After going through that the game will appear in your steam games list and you will be able to download and play from there.

Thanks for this. I had the same problem. The FAQ is incorrect. This is the answer.

Not sure who is in charge of updating the game website, but hopefully someone can correct the FAQ so that there won't be more confused players coming here because of this.
