Different Desert Horses, different speeds.

I have 3 desert horses. 2 are slow and 1 is super fast. Are there variable stats like dex?
They are all around the same level.

If so, when I buy a horse is there a way to tell if they are fast/slow?

Open your character menu (C by default). Go to the second tab ‘statistics’ and find the one that says max speed. Ride the slow and fast desert horses and report the outcomes with screenshots.

All horses of the same breed currently have the same stats.
