When you rework crafting let us make our armor layer by layer to allow for more accurate and dynamic armor sets. Example: A silk/wool arming doublet with a riveted steel mail shirt and a tungsteel breastplate.

I'm a simple man, please just make it so T Knight actually has visible material on the torso.

Ok also cool thing, please make it so T guard can be made out of metal. Similar to MO1 kallardiam lam. It would just be bad metal anyway.

Yeah it definitely needs changes from the current system. There need to be positives/negatives to each material, with actual specific recipes that can be made into specific named items. Right now, it's just choose the metal you can wear + Silk (or later, ironsilk) for padding for best armor. For casters, it's choose which scales you have & silk. Once you realize this, that crafting system is pathetically simple.

For weapons it's even worst. There are a few fixed good handle materials (i've tested this thoroughly) and grip has no bearing on weapons currently. Jadite/steel is the best. Again, pathetically simple for the way they try to sell it as an in depth crafting system.

There should be special combinations, for weapons at least, to make unique weapons. Otherwise it's going to remain incredibly boring to be a weapon/armor crafter. Alchemy/Cooking is incredibly in depth for example, even though there are still some very basic items that make the best potions once you figure that out.

All of this masking their simple system with in-depth/hidden mechanics, but there's nothing actually hidden. Would be a better system to be able to craft certain 'named' swords with specific ingredients than the system we have now.

Pretty sure this is too late. Considering the revamp is due next month, most likely the revamp has already been decided on and work on it is already ongoing.

Oh good Im glad to hear they were working on revamping it. The hardest thing would have been getting them to agree to change something usually. I dont think their would have been time to change a system like this if it started now.

Hopefully it fixes some issues with the system.

The 'revamp' is going to be crafting skills 70 for impeccable (unsure if this includes material lores), with 70-100 adding something different (likely, legendary chance, and durability).

Ok I saw Henrick talk about this but it wasnt how it was in game. This would make things a lot better for being able to craft two types of weapons.
