But say for example you were selling Ironbone Armor set for 15g and other people argued it was worth only 10g. You could probably have a pretty high chance of people voting that it should be worth 15g for the month instead of 10g. But no one would ever agree to 99999g

Does the Tindrem Bank offer any Investment opportunities? Say i give you 100g in a week can you give me 1000g if i do some sort of task for you such as kill Razorback Pigs and bring you carcs or something? Or 100g and you give me 1000g and call upon me to defend your lands when the time is needed?

As the game progresses I will continue to implement offers, proposals and jobs.
Right now I am focused on developing my currency, but when everything starts I will activate the old services that I had in MO1
- Gold transfer system.
- Bank deposit. (you can use for put long term deposit and take profit)
- Loans.
- Pawnshop
-Weapons comes out.
-Armors comes out.
-Merc works (possible, need work in idea)
- RBT ludus (i am planing create mjy own ludus with my own gladiators and my own arena)

This will be the pillar of the game and work system.

I will give my clients many opportunities to earn gold or RUBENS and make profit!

If you really believe people would agree that they would agree on lowering prices that much instead of fair prices. Then this Auction house thing is a bad idea. This post was mainly just a idea to get players to agree on pricing. But i think maybe writing a player book on current item prices and posting it on the boards in town would make more sense.

Creating a post with updated information on rumors, prices and business opportunities is not a bad idea. It can be interesting.
Price regulation, it's just not going to work my friend. xd

To all items where the number of sellers is > 50% people will agree to rising prices.
To all items where the number of sellers is < 50% people will agree to lower prices.
And on top of that there will trolls just for for the lolz of it.
In my opinion such a system will destroy the player market. Quite a few people will just don't sell their items at all cause they don't agree with the monthly price.
If I want to sell stuff overpriced, people don't need to buy it...

My Idea is they have a NPC near Auction house where you cast your Vote for what you want. Example! 100 Players voted that 10k Ironbone was worth 100g and only 50 voted that it was worth 50g and so it is worth 100g for the entire month by popular demand! You just go to Auction House Click Sell 10k Ironbone and it tells you the price for the month :)

I see a lot of arguing in the community already over "This is a bad idea because noobs can't have this or that in Haven or anywhere" While other players think different opinions. If we could vote on it then no one would have to worry about Materials losing their Value regardless of where any of those materials were placed in the game
even much better mechanic would be that from everything that got sold in that town, every item determines the average price of said materials a 1 unit. and show you the average prices.

would be much muhc better mechanic so everybody can know what something is worth and it would improve trading much more.

I think anything that sets static prices would be bad for the game since everything is regional based.

Systems should allow for prices to vary in different locations. This will allow players to get something in one location and sell in another for a profit and also allow players to shop around for better prices.

Any 'known' price should have to be taken with a grain of salt because of the different factors that could effect it.

Personally, I would like to have a system where even the npc prices fluctuate based on their current supply and demand.

The idea is not good, in any way. I would like a local price trend next to the items when using the auction house though.
A price trend that can be seen should be very welcome by many players. Just measuring local prices may give a good feeling of comparing the prices around each town for specific values and actually do transports based on those numbers for better profit and actually encouraging transporting of mats and valuables like this.

A vote is just stupid though....

Fascinating back in the day i ran a Bounty Hunter Guild where people paid me to kill people and i delivered the proof with the targets Heads. I always wondered about the whole purpose of the Arena since i hardly ever seen it used with gladiators. But i had my own ideas with Bets for that when i see it again.

The TIndrem arena didn't do much good, but I think a gladiator circuit in Myrland (mo2) will be possible.
It is one of my priority objectives.

That would be perfect than many people decide oh bleck in meduli is 50g a stakc for example wow in tindrem its average 80g so maybe i buy it here and transport it there and sell there.

It would be much more exngaging and player driven, and more engagin and it would elimate the guessing game on prices and the time consuming price check shit.

its better with everage prices like any other mmo does.

That's what i meant with the whole list of current prices idea. But i like the way you worded it here, if we could see what other people bought stuff for then at least you have a idea of what to sell it as.

Not sure if SV is up for it but It would be awesome if sales history was available somehow. Someone in a city would surely have that info on hand.

Maybe the management and connections skills could be used somehow to allow players to obtain some of that info from the individual broker npcs?

So skilled players that have have grown a good relationship with the npc or city would be allowed more details.

I ask out of curiosity have you had much luck say for example... Selling 10k Ogh for 25k instead of the standard 15k? ;) Or any other upselling? Or perhaps buying stacks of items and then reselling them for more?
I wrote this 6 line long detailed story about how i made almost 300% on a material and then figured it was a trade secret ;) Knowledge is power // Magnus the red. could also say Thomas Jefferson but he isnt as cool as Magnus :p

The highest price I got for a stack of Oghmium was 18000g. But generally I didn't sell Ohgmium stacks, I weaponized them and sold them. I sold hundreds of weapons in the game xd.
And yes, I have been buying and selling for many years. It was one of my first sources of income. I bought wood in bakty and ran to sell it in Tindrem, making a profit of 15% or 20%.
Buying and selling requires dedication and patience, but you get to earn a lot of money with this system. It was basically one of the things I spent the most time on in the game.

Later I became a millionaire and diverted my effort to other banking activities.
Damn that's good money lol you became a millionaire! ? Compared to that the most money i ever got was 1000g because someone wanted the Head of that Brewer guy and so i skillfully tracked him down. Waiting... Watching... Following him to the bathroom. You get the picture. And the very second he left the safety of that bank. I charged him with a spear to the spinal cord. And gutted him like a Fish. During his final moments in mercy mode It was then that i turned on my microphone to heavy breathe like a freak to intimidate and scare him ??. And tell him how long I've waited and that his head will fetch a hefty price.

Lol no way ?? just like a guide npc on what current prices are. Btw what is your profile picture? A Orange Sperm? A Circus Peanut? A Shrimp? Or perhaps a Orange parrot? Whatever that creature is it looks interesting.

Oh good times reminds me of the Growth food? Seriously does anyone remember this? There used to be food in the game that could raise your height and damage bonus to a cap of 25%. If memory serves i think you used to be able to get different weird stat combinations in character creation too but i believe star vault eventually changed it.
